Supporting Local Hospitals

The majority of those who are blind in sub-Saharan Africa are poor and reside in rural areas where eye care facilities and necessary eye care personnel are almost always non-existent. Accessing eye care services in cities where they are mostly located is also usually very difficult and unaffordable. Therefore, Kolmarg Eyesight Foundation will be partnering with local hospitals to establish eye clinics where there are none, and also to increase the volume and quality of eye care services in existing ones.
